MY STORY

DONNIE SMITH

I have been tinkering with cars since I was a young boy.  Sure, I was the tool chaser and flashlight holder for my dad and older brother, but I loved every minute of it.  While in high school I bought, rebuilt, and painted my first car in auto class.  It was a 1974 red Caramro.  I still remember the satisfaction I had when I stood back and saw the end result of all my hard work.

My senior year of high school I work half a day at a local Chevrolet dealership as a painters helper and went to school the other half.  Immediately after high school I enrolled and attended WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming.

After completing the program I worked in the industry for many years as a body tech, painter, estimator, and during that time I also managed a truck paint shop that painted the companies trucks and oilfield equipment.

In 2004 I decided to share my skills and knowledge with others by becoming a full time instructor teaching collision repair to students.  The 18 years I taught collision repair was rewarding watching students excel and succeed in the industry.

I later decided to use my skills and knowledge to help people during a stressful time for them by becoming an independent adjuster.

I believe my rounded experience of auto and heavy equipment  has prepared me to provide the insurance carriers and IA firms with top level claims service that you can trust.
