The ten lessons I have for the basics to writing auto estimates are to help you understand the estimating process.  The lessons were actually created several years ago when I was a collision repair instructor teaching auto estimating to students.  Therefore, the guide is written from a repair shops perspective and follows the ASE competency task list, but the same principles can be applied for auto appraisal estimates.
